Home workout programs – DO they actually work or are they a waste of your valuable time and energy? YAY or NAY? The bees knees or is the hype overrated?
I’ll admit, I was skeptical when I first began doing at home workout programs. 3 months with little to no weights and shorter workouts, HOW can this possibly yield the amazing results you see in the success stories??!
No Gym No Worries
Well, tried and tested by yours truly ladies and gentlemen!! At home workout programs are amazing for weight loss, toning, and building strength and endurance. A lot of home workout programs have different levels starting with a beginners program and after completion, a more advanced program to move up to.
With so many great home fitness programs available on the market right now, many of the obstacles in the way of your fitness goals have completely been eliminated!
How to be successful with Home Workout Programs
Since I have tried so many different home workout programs, some with success and some with not so much success, I will share my top 5 steps to success:
1. Research home programs and find the right one for you.
Some programs have more cardio, while others may use more weights and require a bit more equipment. The best way to set yourself up for success is to do your research. Find a program you will look forward to doing every day because it suits your needs and preferred exercise style!
2. FOLLOW THE PROGRAM’S SCHEDULE THAT IS GIVEN!!!!
This is a big one, that schedule is given for a reason, and a good reason. Professionals have set up the program in a way to safely maximise results and avoid injury, so please please PLEASE follow this!
3. Much like tip #2 – Do not skip workouts!!!!
Some home programs can have a fairly intense workout schedule and the worst thing I found that you can do is skip a workout and say you will make it up on the rest day. No. Chances are you will not make it up and should consider that workout a write off. From personal experience, I highly recommend just setting your mind to working out on the given days and make it part of your daily routine to keep motivated.
4. Follow the meal plan.
Many home programs come equipped with a food plan including meal suggestions; a “diet” for the program’s course. To see full results, following the kitchen rules is the key to dropping that last bit of stubborn fat. Abs are made in the kitchen!
5. Stick with it!
Seeing results can take a bit of time, but these programs are proven to work! If you follow the workout AND the meal plan, you will see the results. Be patient, stay motivated and trust these programs that have changed so many lives before yours!

Another bonus, the usually require little to no equipment, so if you are tight on the cash and don’t want to spend $$$ on a gym membership, you can still get in wicked shape.
