Hey, beautiful people! Barbados is one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. It has everything one can wish for, from spectacular white-sand beaches, to delicious restaurants to satisfy every foodie out there and every sea lover. Here is an option to have lunch that I absolutely enjoyed, nothing can beat hearing the waves gently caressing the shoreline while sipping on a tropical cocktail and enjoying the Mediterranean and seafood cuisine. The perfect combination for a relaxed mid-day meal.

I recommend ordering a selection of tapas instead of big main meals, which will fill you up quickly! If you order off the tapas menu, you can share and try many different delicious things. This is exactly what I did, and it worked out perfectly! Not only were we satisfied after our meal but we really were able to try a wide selection of what was on offer.
If you are on a diet or taking care of your weight, don’t worry there are always healthy choices you can pick from any menu.
HEALTHY PICK! Tuna Carpaccio (thinly sliced raw tuna with olive & caper dressing). This tapa felt really light, fresh, and left space to try other wonderful chef creations!
HEALTHY PICK! Ceviche and quinoa salad with mango citronette and tomato concasse. The flavours in this dish were succulent and exactly what I had imagined while having this perfect ocean view. It was also the best pair for the tuna carpaccio.
We ordered more tapas on the menu, and they were all incredible, try the Salt & Pepper shrimp with sweet chili sauce that won’t leave you disappointed, as well as the Tapas tempura that comes with nobashi shrimp, red snapper, cuttlefish, broccoli & zucchini in tempura batter and a special mention to the yummy potato croquettes with goat cheese & vegetables …
and to the fried calamari with Maryrose dip … no wonder why it got it’s own picture too! Lucky one! I am happy to spend the extra time in the gym to work these delicious bites off!
Unfortunately, our eyes were bigger than the stomach and the inexplicable happened – there was no room for dessert this time, and this only means one thing. Next time I am in Barbados, I will have to sacrifice myself and go back for a little bit of that sweet stuff! Will let you guys know what I think!
